Indian tour was the right call, claims Wellington Phoenix coach

Assistant coach Chris Greenacre claims that the club’s decision to tour India ahead of their season will be prove to be a good decision in the future.
The A-League giants decided to play some friendly games against I-League opposition for their pre-season and although the facilities have hardly been first-rate, the manager claims that the decision was the right one.
"Doesn’t really matter what team you play you can always get those fitness levels up and that’s what it’s about for us at this moment in time. Without a doubt it’s been great preparation and it’s been great team building so ideal preparation for an A-League
season,” he said.
