PML-N offers cold shoulder to PCNP invite
Wednesday, August 29th, 2012 10:59:19 by Fayyaz YaseenIslamabad: Farhatullah Babar, the head of the Parliamentary Commission for the formation of new provinces (PCNP), said here today that the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) had not responded to the commission’s invitation.
Babar, who was talking to the media men, said that the issue of Potohar province was not within the jurisdiction of the commission.
Haji Adeel, the Awami National Party’s central leader, while unleashing severe criticism over PML-N’s boycott of the commission, said that it made no difference whether the PML-N attends the meeting or not. During his conversation
with the journalists, he also called Chaudhry Nisar the friendliest opposition leader.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Speaker of National Assembly, Faisal Karim Kundi also expressed the desire to attend meetings of the commission mandated with the creation of new provinces.
