Pakistan is against drone attacks: FM Khar

Tehran: Pakistan has reiterated its demands to the United States saying that it should immediately stop drone strikes in the country. While expressing her views about the drone attacks, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani
Khar, who is visiting Iran these days, termed them illegal.

Khar, who gave her interview to an Iranian television channel prior to the Non-Aligned Movement Summit, said that drone attacks are illegal, and that Pakistan’s point of view has always remained against them.

She further said that Pakistan’s parliament is also against drone attacks, and that talks with the US authorities are underway to sort out alternatives for countering terrorism.
