Esha Gupta: It was lovely to work with Bipasha Basu

Former Miss India Esha Gupta has only appeared in Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Jannat 2’ as of yet but very soon she will be seen in a lead role and once again opposite to Emraan Hashmi! This time in Vikram Bhatt’s much-anticipated upcoming film ‘Raaz 3’ is a sequel to Raaz – The Mystery Continues (2009), which itself was a sequel to Raaz (2002).

Along with Esha and Emraan, the horror film will also feature the dusky beauty Bipasha Basu as the female lead.

Esha recently shared her thoughts over the movie and she was all praises for Bipasha. The actress insisted she was told that the senior actresses in the industry would try to pull her down but her experience with Bips has changed her thinking.

Esha said Bipasha is completely different from her on-screen avatar of a scheming superstar.

“I am only two films old in the industry but I have heard that senior actresses want to pull you down. The only experience of a senior actress I had was with Bipasha but she was lovely to work with in the film,” Gupta said in an interview.

In the meantime, the 26-year-old beauty queen said that the film was very demanding ‘physically and emotionally’.

“You cannot just scream and yell unless you feel it in your whole body. I went through all the emotions that my character goes through in the film. This is why it was physically and emotionally draining.

While speaking on her inclusion, the actress remarked she was initially scared to take the role because she knew people will have huge expectations from her then.

“Also, there was a lot of flying around because we were dealing with the world of spirits. I even managed to injure my knee but thankfully not in a major way,” Gupta said.

‘Raaz 3’ is scheduled to hit the cinema halls on September 7 so let’s wait and watch how Esha Gupta has performed in this movie.
