Kareena Kapoor explains ‘Heroine’ isn’t based on any one individual

Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor will be seen in Madhur Bhandarkar’s much-anticipated film ‘Heroine’ on September 7. Although ‘Heroine’ is one of the most eagerly awaited films of this season, there are many out there who are not happy with the dialogues of the movie.

Some dialogues of the movie sparked an outcry among the residents of Dubai since they believe their country has been showed in a bad light in the film.

However, Kareena, who recently made a dramatic entrance to meet the Dubai media, doesn’t agree with the views of the residents of Dubai since she feels the movie isn’t based on any one individual.

The 31-year-old, who is considered as the most profitable actress in the tinsel town, stated no one has been named in the movie and it has only shown what generally happens. The actress said they have no intentions of hurting anyone.

“It isn’t based on any one individual,” he insisted.

“He (Madhur) says it’s 70 per cent real, but I think it’s 80 per cent.”

“There have been so many scenes that I could relate to. Obviously the levels of insecurity are different, and each person reacts differently.”

In the movie, Kareena plays Mahi Arora, a once successful film actress whose career is on the decline.

“There is a difference between Mahie (her character in the film) and me.

“I wouldn’t make some of the decisions that she makes in the film,” she clarified.

“An actress’ life is not all about sashaying in pretty, chiffon sarees.

“There’s also the ups and downs, which Madhur has beautifully captured in the film,” she concluded.

In the meantime, the film’s producer and head honcho of Disney UTV, Siddarth Roy Kapur, revealed that a holiday is awaiting Kareena, if the movie does well the box office.

“If the film does a certain amount of business, which I can’t reveal details of, then I will only be happy to treat them to a holiday,” said Kapur.

Along with Kareena Kapoor, ‘Heroine’ will feature the likes of Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda and Shahana Goswami in the lead roles.
