Kirsty Gilmour slaughters Victoria Slobodjanuk in Women’s Singles quarter-final at Polish Open 2012

1, in Poland.
The third seeded Kirsty, who was having the support of her home fans, played at her best and remained aggressive all the way to finish off the winning run of her Russian challenger by finishing up the battle in a dominating fashion.
The higher ranked Kirsty showed her impressive craft in the whole battle and stamped her mark over her Russian rival in straight games by working hard for just 25 minutes.
The underdog Victoria, on the other hand, remained unable to put up strong show in the whole match and easily went down against her local opponent in a lopsided fashion without proving her worth.
The in-form Kirsty player aggressive badminton on court in opening set and remained in strong position as she pushed her rival on back foot and managed a small lead until the break by reaching at 11-9.
After the one-minute break, Victoria tried to remain close to her opponent by increasing her speed but failed to shake the confidence Scottish player and remained trailing behind on the board.
The impressive Kirsty, in the meanwhile, was consistent in her controlled and positive play and she did not face any tough resistance in finishing off the first game with a remarkable margin of 21-14.
The in-form Scottish player remained on track in the second game and was everywhere on court as she dictated Victoria in all corners and remained ahead without any trouble.
The higher ranked Kirsty established a huge gap on score board by reaching at 11-3 until the mid-game interval.
In the concluding half of second set, Kirsty remained positive in her power play also maintained pressure on her rival without letting her fight back in the game.
Kirsty was in full swing all the way in the concluding half of second game and she did not commit any mistake in finishing it up with a one-sided 21-10 score on the board.
The third seeded Kirsty easily outshined her Russian rival in quarter-final battle in straight sets with an authoritative margin of 21-14 and 21-10.
