A three-member bench of the apex court with Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry in the chair resumed the hearing of law and order situation in violation of human rights in Balochistan.
The chief justice asked the authorities concerned to improve their states of affairs before it’s too late.

Asking the advocate-general that what would happen if the UN delegation visited the province and recorded statements, he said the situation should be improved at the earliest.
Chief Justice Chaudhry expressed his outrage at the absence of Bugti from court, demanding that the missing person hailing from Balochistan, Kohlu and Bugti must be presented in court as soon as possible.
“As there are 22 agencies working in Balochistan, a list of all the names of these agencies must be submitted to court”.

At one occasion, the chief justice ordered police and Frontier Corps (FC) to start a crackdown against illegal arms and vehicles in three days.
Upon which, the defense secretary told the court to give them chance and that they will not disappoint the court as they have already started action.
Justice Khilji Arif Hussain during the hearing inquired from the deputy attorney-general about the prohibition of illegal weapons and passage of vehicles.
In reply to this, the deputy attorney general said that as the system is now computerized and obtaining a list of these passages could be compiled easily for use in legal proceedings.
