Kiera Knightley is not shy about getting naked for the need of a role  

Good news for slobbering fan-boys everywhere: Keira Knightley revealed in a recent interview that she’s not shy about stripping down nude for film roles, saying specifically that she is “not prudish when it comes to nudity.”

The British actress has appeared nude for roles in the films The Duchess and The Edge of Love, and said that she has no qualms with nudity in film. “I’m not prudish when it comes to nudity. If the role calls for nudity, then I’m going to be naked. I’m not
afraid to expose myself that way,” she told The Mirror, via MSN.

Interestingly, Knightley said that when it comes to acting, love is much harder to fake than passion.

“I’m much more worried about revealing personal sides to myself, which I find harder to do. The hardest thing to capture about love is the actual physical intimacy between two people. The way two people behave when they are next to each other and touching
each other, holding hands, resting your head on your partner’s shoulder. In your personal life, you generally don’t think about the fact you’re touching your partner. That’s a difficult thing to capture on film.”

It’s a problem Knightley may not have to worry about much longer, what with her rumoured departure from film. After getting married to “Klaxons” singer James Righton, Knightley is reportedly taking a hiatus from her career to focus on being a full-time wife
and potentially a mother, reports the Times of India.

 “Keira was saying recently that having a big movie career and being a wife and mother don’t always mix,” said a source. “She wants to focus on being a full-time wife, and then, hopefully, a mum.”

Knightley is rumoured to marry Righton next summer, possibly in France, though details are not finalized yet.

“Nothing has been finalized yet, but she is saying goodbye to the glitz and glamor of the showbiz world for the time being,” the source added.

If rumours of Knightley’s hiatus are true, then her upcoming role in Jack Ryan would likely be her last.
