Bipasha Basu: There is nothing called ‘safe’ in Bollywood
Tuesday, September 11th, 2012 2:26:28 by Imran Shaukat KhanThe bong bombshell Bipasha Basu is on cloud nine these days because her latest movie ‘Raaz 3D’ has been liked by almost everyone out there and it is doing an excellent business at the box office.
Prior to the release of ‘Raaz 3D’, it was being assumed as if Mahesh Bhatt has made the film on Bipasha’s life since he told the media that Bipasha is not ‘as safe as she was ten years ago’ alluding to the fact that she’s grown old.
However, when Bips was asked about it she said she is in a much better position today than she was before. The actress insisted that no one in the industry is safe today not even the likes of Salman Khan, whose latest film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ has broke almost all the box office records.
“Ten years ago, I was a debutant and I wasn’t safe at all. There’s nothing called ‘safe’ today. Salman Khan who has a Rs. 200 crore film, was low three years back and was doing no films,” she said, adding that the idea of loss of fame has crossed her mind.
“I think that once all this gets over and the fame goes away, what am I gonna feel. I don’t have an answer, but I’d be sad.”
The 33-year-old dusky beauty remained in a nine-year long relationship with actor John Abraham but now everything between the two has ended. When asked, Bipasha said she now knows the kind of man she wants in her life.
“I never had a prototype in mind earlier, but now I do. He should be intelligent, should be able to make me laugh and should be as successful as I am. But I am not looking. I am sure if I look, there are good men in life,” said the actor, riding high on the massive opening of her recent release Raaz 3.
Bipasha Basu will now be seen in the films like ‘Race 2’, ‘Aatma’ and ‘No Entry Mein Entry’. Her first Hollywood movie ‘Singularity’ will hit the cinemas soon as well.
