Bipasha Basu says she didn’t have a life with John Abraham
Tuesday, September 11th, 2012 12:02:23 by Imran Shaukat KhanThe bong beauty Bipasha Basu remained in a serious relationship with the ‘Force’ actor John Abraham for almost nine years but she says she didn’t have a life at all during that time period.
While speaking on her inclusion, Bipasha said she felt abandoned during her relationship with John. However, the actress blamed herself for whatever happened to her during the relationship.
In an interview with The Times of India, the Raaz 3 star said: “Nothing can save something that is not meant to be, no matter how hard you try. I want to tell women that you need to love yourself and make yourself a priority. It’s only when you are happy yourself, can you make everyone else around you happy.
“I am still a dreamer and still believe in fairy tales, but there is only that much one should give another person. You need to keep something for yourself. I am to blame for what happened to me. I allowed a lot. Anyone who pulls you down in your life, should not be in your life.”
The 33-year-old bong bombshell stressed she isolated herself from the world and couldn’t do anything freely at all. Now when she is single, Bips feels she has become a much better actress.
The actress reckons the experience which she had with John has played a vital role in her success.
“During the nine years, I confined myself and never stepped out. I didn’t have a life. I worked, went to a gym and came back to my hotel room. Even if a man loved me, it was never communicated to me,” she said.
Nevertheless, in the end, Bipasha remarked that she still believes in love and fairytales. The actress said she knows she will meet her ‘Mr. Right’ one day.
Bipasha Basu is currently garnering a lot of appreciation from the audiences for her magnificent performance in ‘Raaz 3’. She will now be seen in the films like ‘Race 2’, ‘Aatma’ and ‘No Entry Mein Entry’.

Well, she must have had something to have stayed with him for that long! What was it that kept her cooing at him all those years? Hmmm…the mind boggles! Face it Bips! You had fun with him. So it didn’t work out…big deal! Happens all the time! No matter what the reasons, going to press with your little “i shouldn’ve have been a doormat” song is just wrong. You weren’t a doormat. He didn’t walk all over you. You were more like his favourite blanket. You kept him warm. And you loved it. Deal with it…and move on!
