Former German president’s wife sues Google

The wife of former German president Christian Wulff has taken legal action against Google in order to stop false rumours that she once worked as a prostitute.

With the lawsuit she wants to prevent Google from linking her name to searches with the terms "prostitute" and "red light district".

A German paper also informed that "her lawyers have already issued 34 successful cease-and-desist orders, including one against a prominent German television personality this weekend."
