Friday, September 14th, 2012 12:33:01 by Haris AnsariFlyleaf, an American alternative metal band, is set to release their third studio album named, New Horizons. The band bassist, Pat Seals, has revealed the details of the upcoming album, while unveiling his favourite track of the record.
“I would say door No. 2! A lot of the album is different from the single. I think, lyrically, the single is indicative of the rest of the record. It’s all about rebirth and how you embrace new horizons. It’s about letting go of old things and embracing the future. Sonically, it’s a pretty good spectrum of variety”
“I’ve been floating around between a few. I really dig ‘New Horizons.’ If I had to pick one song, though, it would be ‘Fire Fire.’ I would advise some fans to look out for that one. It has a lot of heart”, Seals said in a recent interview with Loudwire.
The talented musician went on to insist that recording this album was far much easier than the last one.
“Even though the length of time between albums was longer — three years — the process itself felt a little shorter and easier and it felt like the songs were coming out of us instead of us trying to make them come out. Before, we were it felt more deliberate. These had more of a flow”, Seals concluded.
