Saif Ali Khan terms Salman Khan as a special superstar

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan not too long ago appeared with his wife-to-be Kareena Kapoor in his home production ‘Agent Vinod’ but the film failed to do well at the box office and ultimately was declared as a flop.

However, Salman Khan’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, which was very similar to Saif’s spy thriller, turned out to be a blockbuster. The film broke many box office records and collected over 300 crore at the BO.

When Saif was asked about the reasons for the differences in business, he said every film which features Salman Khan works. The actor termed Khan as a special superstar of Hindi Cinema.

Saif said, “If we could understand this thing so easily, then every film would have been a super hit. Some ideas work, some don’t. Almost all of Salman’s films work, he is a special superstar. I don’t know.”

The 42-year-old actor is currently participating in the shooting of Tigmanshu Dhulia’s forthcoming ‘Bullet Raja’, which is a Uttar Pradesh based gangster movie.

In the movie Saif will be seen alongside Sonakshi Sinha and he is really happy and excited about it.

“I am very excited to be working with Sonakshi (Sinha) and I am excited to be working with Tigmanshu (Dhulia). I think it’s going to be a good, fun movie. I am looking forward to start shooting. It’s different from ‘Omkara’…it will be based on Tigmanshu’s understanding and strengths, but yes, it will be UP (Uttar Pradesh) based,” the 42-year-old said here Thursday at the Amby Valley Fashion Week.

Well, all said and done, apart from the movies, Saif Ali Khan is also locking headlines in the country for his much-anticipated wedding with Kareena Kapoor, who is considered as the ultimate diva of the tinsel town.

Both stars will tie the knot in October and this news, which has been confirmed by Saif’s mother Sharmila Tagore, has spread a buzz among their millions of fans.
