Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling ready to make it official

Hot guys named Ryan are being taken off the market left and right.

Ryan Reynolds made things official with Blake Lively last weekend, and now uber-hottie Ryan Gosling is said to be "itching" to get hitched to his girlfriend Eva Mendes, whom he’s been dating for under a year. According to OK Magazine, Ryan is apparently
"head over heels" for Eva and is ready to take the walk down the aisle with her. But it might not be that easy.

Problem is, Eva has long been opposed to the idea of marriage in general. "It’s something Eva has balked at in the past, but Ryan has a charming way of helping her see a different kind of future," according to OK’s source. "She’s getting on board with the
idea of marriage." And who wouldn’t, when it’s The Gos we’re talking about?

To us, it would seem "crazy, stupid" to turn down a marriage proposal from the star of The Notebook (not to mention the star of many dreams that we’ve had). But Eva has been a vocal critic of marriage, even telling Chelsea Handler in May, "I’m not, like,
anti-marriage or the institution — like, for other people." She went on to say, "But I think, you know, it’s a very old-fashioned, archaic kind of thing."

Ryan and Eva met on the set of the film The Place beyond the Pines, which just debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival a week ago to an excited response.

So will Ryan soon be saying, "Hey Girl, want to make me the luckiest man alive?" We shall see.
