Chen Yuekun, one of the spirited shuttlers from China, put up spectacular show of impressive badminton and overpowered France’s Matthieu Lo Ying Ping in Men’s Singles qualifying round at Lining China Masters 2012 at Changzhou, China, on September 11.
The impressive Yuekun proved his mettle as he played to his maximum potential and proved that he has achieved competitive skills to take bigger challenges. He easily overpowered his French rival without facing a reasonable margin.
Yuekun displayed his attacking craft and lived up to the expectations of his home fans with his remarkable performance on court as he ended up the contest in two sets by taking just 27 minutes on court.
On the other hand, Matthieu also played good badminton in the opening game but failed to maintain his rhythm and also could not cope up with the power accuracy of his rival. He crashed out easily without snatching any set from his Chinese opponent.
The first game was interesting when both shuttlers showed their impressive skills on court by playing to their maximum potential and managed to remain close on board until the end of opening half.
The impressive Chinese player started to turn things around by putting variations in his strokes and started to dominate the pace of rallies.
Yuekun was in complete control of the game at the concluding points of opening set and he remained successful in taking it with a reasonable margin of 21-17.
The second set of this contest was shocking even beyond the imagination of Matthieu as the Chinese shuttlers put up staggering show and took an incredible margin until the end of opening half.
After the one-minute break, the Chinese shuttler continued putting up wonderful show after the break as he played with precision.
Chinese shuttler did not show any mercy to Matthieu and remained successful in winning the set with a crushing 21-4 score on the board.
The incredible Yuekun proved his mettle on court as he remained successful in defeating Matthieu in a dominating fashion with a wonderful margin of 21-17 and 21-4.
