Double belted dresses are a popular choice in the London Fashion Week

It seems it’s the new trend of the moment, as both Victoria Pendleton and Kim Sears stepped out in matching double-belted dresses yesterday.

The Olympic gold medallist and Andy Murray’s fiancée opted for similar outfits as they attended London fashion week.

Pendleton, who took an afternoon off from Strictly Come Dancing to spend some time with fashion royalty, opted for a dusky purple number while Kim Sears chose a white knee length dress. 

The Strictly star, who showed off her streamline figure, is currently busy training for the BBC show and has said that she is ‘more than excited’ about the new challenge.

She matched her outfit with killer heels.

Pendleton helped Strictly Come Dancing’s opening show become its most watched in three years on Saturday night as she was matched with dance partner Brendan Cole.

Strictly saw its audience peak at 9.8 million on Saturday night, knocking its usual average of around 8 million out of the park; strictly will return in three weeks while the couples train for their first dance.
