LG set to launch quad-core Optimus G
Tuesday, September 18th, 2012 6:11:37 by Farasat AliThe Korean manufacturer LG has presented Optimus Seoul G, which will reportedly cost $ 900, although the date of the launch has been delayed up to October in the U.S. and Europe.
The smartphone, with quad-core Qualcomm processor, has 4.7 inch screen and a 13 mega pixel camera is activated depending on the receiving voice commands.
The company president, Jong-seok Park,
ratified that they are expecting to meet the goal of selling between 30 and 35 million handsets worldwide this year, despite of the fact that in the first half of the year the figure just reached 10.7 million.
The Optimus G is hoping to meet objectives and LG gets back into the production sector. Also, the president confirmed that LG has no plans to make phones with the operating system, Windows 8.
The president changed his mind to make windows phone after seeing the decline to Nokia’s Lumia. The Windows phone, which was launched earlier this year by the Finnish company, failed to impress the users after affecting company’s
overall morale in telephone business.
“We are confident that users will have a superior experience with everything that we’re offering in the Optimus G. It isn’t just another high-performance phone with the latest bells and whistles,”

LG have now joined Motorola, Nokia, Apple and HTC in the launch of their new mobile overlooking for the Christmas season, when it accumulates 30% of industry sales.
