Mizuki Nishioka and Kaede Kisaka dominated the preliminary rounds of Girls 200m breaststroke and Boys 200m backstroke respectively at the 2012 NCSA/Itoman Allstar Meet.
She stayed full body length ahead of her toughest competitor and tapped the wall with an effort of 2 minutes and 35.59 seconds.
Nishioka was traced by Namiki Ueda, who stayed 0.77 seconds slower from her foregoing finisher and entered the final round with an effort of 2 minutes and 36.36 seconds.
Ueda was chased by her teammate, Rika Omoto, who was one and a half body length behind and settled on the finishing end as third best finisher by touching the wall with the timing of 2 minutes and 37.85 seconds.
Omoto was followed by Waka Yujiri, who remained 0.66 seconds apart and completed her swim in fourth best place by submitting an effort of 2 minutes and 38.51 seconds.
Yujiri enjoyed a benefit of full body length over Manae Sakai, who accomplished fifth position of the swim by producing a time of 2 minutes and 39.38 seconds.
Afterwards, Kisaka captured gold medal of the Boys 200m discipline. Kisaka showed no mercy to his challengers and surfaced on the finishing end as top contender for gold medal by producing a time of 2 minutes and 06.64 seconds.
His gruelling effort remained 0.80 seconds ahead of his toughest competitor, Kohei Tsumura, who surfaced on the finishing blockade for second position by submitting a time of 2 minutes ad 07.44 seconds.
Tsumura was traced by Robert S McHugh, who was one and a half body length behind and emerged on the finishing end as third fastest swimmer by reporting a time of 2 minutes and 08.97 seconds.
Fourth finest qualification spot of the race was secured by Ryoichi Ishiyama, who remained just 0.12 seconds slower from improving his position and entered the playoff with an effort of 2 minutes and 09.09 seconds.
Furthermore, the arena appreciated commendable efforts of all participants in their respective events while these swimmers will face each other in the playoff to secure top position.
