Michael Koncz believes Manny Pacquiao v Juan Manuel Marquez 4 will end by a knockout

Michael Koncz, advisor to eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao, made an appearance on ‘ATG (All-Time Great) Radio’ on Monday evening, where he shared his thoughts with the media over the upcoming fight of his man with the current WBO light welterweight champion, Juan Manuel Marquez.

Pacquiao and Marquez will lock horns for the fourth time on December 8 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

While speaking on his inclusion, Koncz told the media that none of the fighters want to have a fifth fight between them and therefore they will try their best to end this one by the way of a knockout.

“Neither of these fighters want to have number five, so I believe that both of the guys, Manny and Marquez, are going to change their strategy and there’s going to be a lot more aggression in here, because they both want to put an end to this trilogy and I strongly believe somebody is going to knock somebody out,” Koncz claimed.

Many boxing fans wanted to see a fight between Pacquiao and the undefeated American legend Floyd Mayweather junior whereas a considerable amount of fans wanted Pacquiao’s rematch with Timothy Bradley.

However, when Koncz was asked about it, he said Marquez was the only available option for the Filipino boxing icon.

“This was the only fight, other than Floyd Mayweather, that’s available to make it entertaining for the fans,” Koncz clarified to my colleague Chris Gunzz. “We could have easily taken a [Timothy] Bradley rematch but that’s certainly not going to be entertaining. And that’s Manny’s primary goal, is to entertain his fans. And’s that’s why we chose Marquez.”

Well, all said and done, Pacquiao lost his title against Bradley and in order to set up a fight with Mayweather, he will have to win Marquez in a dominant way. So let’s see if Pac-Man wins in a convincing way against the Mexican Dinamita.
