Adrianti Firdasari, one of the most talented female shuttlers from Indonesia, showed her aggression and reserved her berth in Women’s Singles semi-final after defeating her compatriot Rusydina Antardayu Riodingin in quarter-final battle at Indonesia Open

The seventh seeded Adrianti, who has been showing a steady improvement at international stage for the last few months, delivered an impressive performance and easily registered her mark over her challenger.
The impressive Adrianti was on a different level on court as she did not show any mercy to her lower ranked team-mate and ultimately ended up the quarter-final battle in straight sets with a comfortable score on the board.
On the other hand, the lower ranked Rusydina could not continue her positive run in the event and failed to stop the aggressive play of her higher ranked team-mate. She lost the contest without proving her worth.
In the opening game, both shuttlers started their positive run by playing remarkable badminton but Adrianti showed better performance and managed to set up a reasonable lead at the starting rallies.
The higher ranked Adrianti employed all of her shots and pushed her lower ranked country-mate in all areas of the court. She stayed in commanding position and eventually took a convincing margin of 11-6.
In the concluding half, the in-form Adrianti continued her stunning run on court without sparing any possibility for her opponent to fight back into the game.
The seventh seeded Adrianti did not face any trouble in winding up the starting set with a comfortable 21-15 score on the board.
In the second game, the underdog Rusydina gave a good fight in starting rallies and matched the pace until 6-6 when she lost her focus.
In the meanwhile, Adrianti geared up her speed by taking the bird early from all areas and managed a comfortable lead of 11-6 until the break.
After the break, the higher ranked Adrianti did not slow down her speed and managed to end up the set with a 21-14 margin on score board.
The incredible Adrianti won this quarter-final contest in a dominating fashion with a superb margin of 21-15 and 21-14.
