Han Li, who is one of the most talented players from China, showed her aggression on court and remained successful in winning Women’s Singles crown after defeating Indonesia’s Yeni Asmarani in the title match at Indonesia Open Grand Prix Gold 2012 on September
30, in Indonesia.
The in-form Han, who was seeded at number two in the main draw of the tournament, displayed her elevated craft in the final encounter and managed to overpower her local rival in straight sets with a superb margin.
Higher ranked Han was at her best on court as she played with incredible speed and control in her shots and ultimately crushed her challenger in straight sets with a one-sided margin in just 30 minutes
The lower ranked Yeni, in the meanwhile, could not stretch her impressive run in the event and failed to create resistance against her second seeded Chinese opponent at any stage and lost the match without creating as strong impact.
In the first game, the local shuttler showed her aggression and precision as she played with speed and managed to remain close to her rival until 5-5 when the Chinese started to change things around.
Han was calm and composed on court and she took over the control from her opponent by playing attacking badminton.
Until the one-minute break in the first game, the Chinese shuttler remained on track and established an impressive lead of 11-6 until the break.
In the concluding half, the second seeded Han made it a lopsided battle by playing at the similar fashion and extended her lead without facing any considerable trouble.
On the other hand, Han showed a great performance in ending points and easily grabbed it with a stunning margin of 21-12.
Han was calm and composed in the second game as she played controlled badminton without facing any resistance from her rival.
The Chinese lady managed a comfortable lead on score board by reaching at 11-7 until the break.
In the ending phase of second set, Han stayed up to the mark without dropping her speed and she easily wrapped up the set with a completely dominating margin of 21-10.
The incredible Han managed to win the Women’s Singles title in a completely one-sided fashion with a 21-12 and 21-10 margin on the board.
