Accepting the Decision of Court is Part of our Faith – Arbab Khizer Hayat Khan

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) leader Arbab Khizer Hayat Khan has said that accepting the decision of the court in letter and spirit is part of our faith and we are bound to abide by every decision of the court. He said that if the court orders that Arbab Khizer should be hanged before sun rise, he will also respect that decision. He said that all the political parties of Pakistan are bound to respect constitution and judiciary and we accept all decisions of the court.

Talking to media here on Thursday ,Arbab Khizer said that as far as enquiry and investigation is concerned the court has entrusted FIA with this matter. He said that to object this part is our right and it does not negate acceptance of the decision of the court as any person can file a petition in the court in his case that the investigation of this case should be changed and even objection can be raised against the judge that he should be changed in his case. He said that we should wait for the detailed verdict of Supreme Court so that it should be come to known which officer has been appointed by the court for further enquiry and investigation and our party will give final opinion in this regard. He said that Mian Nawaz Sharif has said nothing so far in this regard.

Arbab Khizer said that explanation of the four lines written in paragraph No. 4 of short decision of the Supreme Court is necessary, according to which President of Pakistan, Chief of the Army Staff and DG ISI cannot involve in the constitution of any political cell. He said the real question today is that when government takes action against Gen. Aslam Baig and Gen. Asad Durrani and when the political activities in the President House are stopped. He said that according to the charter of democracy signed by Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Mothrama Benazir Bhutto, both had agreed to start accountability of every kind of the political parties from 1996 as Mohtharma knew that if something has happened in elections of 90 then surely there was something present in the elections of 1993 which could be questioned.

Arbab Khizer said that nothing is present regarding IJI, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif or Muslim League-N in the decision of the Supreme Court. He said that we should wait for the detailed decision. He said that the politicians who took money can also include the persons of Peoples Party. He said that the names of Ch. Shujaat Hussain and Ch. Pervaiz Elahi can also include who were with us at that time and Mian Manzoor Wattoo who has recently been nominated as president of Punjab PPP was also with us. If their names were included, can Deputy Prime Minister and Manzoor Wattoo be removed from their offices, Arbab questioned.
