India, although, are busy in a high-voltage four-Test series against England, the upcoming crucial clash against arch-rivals Pakistan would certainly in their mind. On the other hand, the Green Shirts’ entire focus is on the tour to India, as they have no international cricket to play before that.

The two giants of the game are meeting in a bilateral series after almost five years. Both teams are determined to produce a positive result, because the whole cricketing fraternity will be watching this series very closely.

The Cornered Tigers are under more pressure, as they will be playing in front of the huge Indian crowd. Moreover, the Men in Blue will take the best advantage of the home conditions by making supportive wickets.

The former Pakistan players are also showing keen interest in the series, and Inzamam-ul-Haq, who led the Green Shirts when both countries last met in Pakistan, has advised his countrymen to avoid private parties and dinners on the tour.

Inzaman has visited India several times, and believes that whenever the Pakistani players visit India, they receive plenty of invitations. He asked the Pakistan team to completely focus on series, as it is going to be a very important series.

“Whenever Pakistan goes to India there are always a lot of private invitations for dinners, parties and receptions. Players are offered good money to attend these events,” Inzamam told reporters in Lahore on Friday.

“My advice to the players is avoid these private parties and dinners and just focus on cricket because it is an important series for us. Touring India is always a great experience for Pakistani players and there are distractions but the players must concentrate on the series and on winning it,” he added.

On the possible outcome of the series, the legendary batsman shared: “I have a feeling India will rely on its batting because their batting has carried them through in recent times. India will have played a full Test series against England while our team will go there fresh so we will have that slight edge.”
