Elsewhere at the Dunlop World Challenge, Poland’s Michal Przysiezny stunned fifth seeded Hiroki Moriya in straight sets to grab the title.
The Swiss challenger hammered eight aces to prevail. She warded off early resistance to outsmart the 42-year-old in one hour and 44 minutes.

The Swiss starlet kept momentum rolling in the following set. She lost her serve once but capitalised on two out of three break chances to carve out the victory with a 6-4 score line.
Overall, she clobbered a lower first serve share of 59 per cent as compared to the ever green local legend Date-Krumm’s 74 per cent. However, the Swiss impressively marked 32 out of 47 points on it and ruled throughout the battle.

Ranked 207th in the South African Airways ATP World Tour Rankings, Przysiezny fired 17 aces to dominate. He committed zero double fault and clobbered a better first serve share of 79 per cent as compared to his rival’s 57 per cent. The Pole ended the battle with 70 points and ultimately grabbed the title.
