PFF pile pressure on Zavisa
Wednesday, November 28th, 2012 1:55:31 by Shahrukh SohailThe tactician is being subjected to the Federation’s politics despite not doing anything to disturb their activities.
Serbia’s Zavisa Milosavljevic took up the challenge of rescuing Pakistan from the depths of International football, but although results have not really gone his way. There has been definite progression since the days of Tariq Lutfi.
Zavisa earned three credible draws in the SAFF Cup last year, but went on to lose 4-0 against Singapore, although he never had any practice games before the crucial tie.
However, the PFF are trying to hide their incompetency and have served the coach with a notice as to why he is commenting on the dire condition of the country’s football.
Well-placed sources claimed that the former Lesotho boss could be sacked if things continue this way, which would be a big blow to the country’s football indeed.
“I think Zavisa should not think that he is fully authorised. If he continues to go against the wishes of the PFF he may lose his job well before the expiry of his contract,” sources said.
