Facebook set to develop own games after Zynga agreement
Friday, November 30th, 2012 6:36:31 by Farasat AliThe fate of Zynga is no longer tied to Facebook after the social network failed to get the exclusivity right of Zynga games. A new agreement has loosened the
dependence between the two companies, which began to be harmful to both parties.
The possibility that Facebook can make their own games caused Zynga to take immediate action after their stock fell 14% in stock. However, they stopped when the social network announced that it had no intention to enter that
field as their sole objective is to improve their own gaming platform.
Although they promise that they might opens the door for other gaming developers after encouraging organizations to send them better proposal to work together in the technology zone.
The new agreement allows Zynga play without signing up for Facebook; as the users can also choose other forms of micropayments with different other social networks. For now, Facebook is still the main source
of income for Zynga, thanks to the people who play and buy through it.
