Essa set to be sidelined with knee injury – report
Friday, November 30th, 2012 1:11:19 by Shahrukh SohailThe former Pakistan skipper has been told by his doctor to take a one month break from the game after injuring his knee, which will cause him to miss the remaining games in the Premier League.
“Yes, I have been advised by my doctor to take one-month rest and I would not be able to appear in the rest of the matches of the Premier League,” said Muhammad Essa.
“The team will miss me but I am confident that their performance will not be affected much as our striker Mohammad Salam, who stayed away for a few matches due to his fractured hand, has returned and started training,” he added.
“I still will be with the team and will help the management in planning and other things,” the player was quoted as saying while speaking to the media.
