Political alliance with PPP impossible; says Opposition Leader Chaudhary Nisar
Saturday, December 1st, 2012 1:03:12 by Web DeskOpposition Leader in the National Assembly and senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N’s) Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has strongly ruled out any possibility of political alliance with Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP).
Talking to journalists in his chambers here on Friday, the opposition leader said that those contemplating this kind of alliance between PML-N and PPP were living in fool’s paradise, and they should sooner get out of such a dynamic misconception.
He supported hid reasoning by his logic that if PML-N had faith and belief in PPP’s manifesto and agenda, PML-N would never had moved to opposition benches within one and a half month of being in government.
“We detached PPP from Punjab government with utmost difficulty, and now it was time for masses to follow our example by ousting PPP from echelons of power, for good”, he observed.
He said that PPP was aware of its gross injustices towards masses, and was trying to eke out political mileage by using PML-N as a cover in its (PPP’s) covert bid to grab power again.
“The tongues which lashed and hurled all kinds of abuses and insults at Mian Nawaz Sharif have suddenly started uttering sweet talk”, he scoffed.
He also said that masses were dying to hold accountability of corrupt rulers at the first available opportunity and clarified that PML-N had opposed tax amnesty scheme, over the reason that government’s tenure was to expire within few months, and as such could not decide about the forthcoming budget for FY-2013.
He also criticized over appointment of the new FBR (Federal Bureau of Revenue) chairman, which was a living example of nepotism and favoritism of President Zardari; “Besides the newly appointed FBR chairman was not even related, competent enough for his post”
He also stressed the fact that government’s tenure would end on 18th March, after which elections would be conducted by a neutral (non-representative) caretaker government: “ hence the rulers should not bother to harp out statements, ensuring to hold elections as scheduled, and try to hoodwink the masses through their fake grand pretensions of doing Pakistan a favor”, he chided.

PML N saying that the PPP is corrupt is outrageous
Consider what happened in past PML N governments: we had foreign exchange depleting schemes like the Yellow Cab & uneconomic wastage ages like Pindi Lahore motorway.
The PP government is certainly corrupt and inefficient, but PML N is no better.
