According to the media reports, a woman who had come to visit the residents of a house in Makan Bagh area of Mingora was killed. As a result of the blast, four other women and two children were also wounded who were shifted to Sedo Sharif Hospital.
Some reports claimed that the explosives were planted near Kainat’s house. However, some contradicted it saying it was a cylinder blast.
Kainat just recently returned to school and despite trauma from the shooting, was very excited about it. She was injured when Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) members shot Malala Yousufzai, a 15-year-old child activist, who is currently recovering in a UK hospital.
