NBP and HBL play out entertaining draw
Friday, December 7th, 2012 3:56:59 by Shahrukh SohailThe two Premier League giants failed to grab three points and eventually settled for a share of the spoils in scintillating 2-2 scoreline.
NBP coach Nasir Ismail was far from pleased with the result and claimed that his side should have come out on top after exhibiting their attacking prowess throughout the ninety minutes.
“I think we should have won the game. Although the team fought back strongly, in the end the frontline again saddened me with their habit of missing the goals as we had got three clear goal-scoring chances,” said Nasir, an AFC License A coach.
His opposing number, Yousuf Khan, was let down by shot stopper Sajid, who conceded two poor goals and let his side drown their hard earned lead.
“I think we were in real command while leading 2-0, but we were disappointed by goalkeeper Sajid Hussain who conceded poor goals. National Bank also played well but we were extremely unlucky,” Yousuf said.
