Hennessey Stuart and Caeleb Dressel secure gold medals – Speedo Winter Junior Nationals

Hennessey Stuart and Caeleb Dressel secured gold medals of the Men’s 200 yard backstroke and 100 yard freestyle respectively at the 2012 Speedo Winter Junior National Championships.

Stuart stayed comfortably ahead of his opponents from the start and surfaced his way to the finishing end for gold medal by touching the wall with an effort of 1 minute and 43.64 seconds.

The champion was followed by Aaron Greene, who remained 0.10 seconds behind and surfaced on the finishing end for silver medal by producing a time of 1 minute and 43.74 seconds.

Greene was traced by William Glass, who concluded the podium by winning bronze medal of the event by producing a time of 1 minute and 43.96 seconds.

Fourth finest spot of the race was chased by John Manchester, who stayed 0.88 seconds apart and concluded his race in fourth best place by touching the wall with the timing of 1 minute and 44.84 seconds.

Fifth position of the swim was secured by Carter Griffin, who stayed only an arm-stroke behind and touched the wall with an effort of 1 minute and 45.18 seconds.

Afterwards, Dressel faced strong competition from his toughest competitor but with his immaculate pace, he managed to outperform him over the wall for the crown by reporting a time of 43.29 seconds.

The top finisher was traced by Brett Ringgold, who remained only an inch behind and stepped on the medal rostrum for silver medal by producing a nice time of 43.44 seconds.

The second position holder was chased by Santo Condorelli, who stayed 0.26 seconds apart and concluded his race in a wonderful time of 43.70 seconds.

Fourth finest spot of the event was obtained by Dylan Carter, who was only 0.14 seconds behind and surfaced on the finishing blockade by touching the wall with a fascinating timing of 43.84 seconds.

In addition, the position holders received medals and accolades for their notable efforts at the prize ceremony of the event while the arena appreciated gruelling efforts of all winners in their respective events.
