MQM chief Altaf Hussain seeks opinion about his political future

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has sought opinion from his party workers whether he should continue to lead the party or quit politics.
Addressing MQM Rabita Committee, lawyers and other activists in Karachi, the MQM chief said ,”If my clear stance on the issue is creating problems than the party workers and sympathizers should give their opinion to whether I shall leave the MQM leadership and politics or face the situation.”
He also said that the MQM activists had always supported him in the periods of hardships. “I have no fear about anything regarding myself,” he said adding that he only fear Allah. He further said that he was consulting legal experts to file the reply of contempt notice issued by Supreme Court.
The way MQM workers and sympathisers had expressed their love and registered their protest after the issuance of contempt notice against him was commendable, Altaf Hussain added. “I and my lawyers are deliberating as to how we should respond to the Supreme Court’s contempt notice served upon me,” he said.
It may be mentioned here that the Supreme Court had served a contempt notice to MQM Chief Altaf Hussain ordering him to appear before the court on January 7 following the latter’s statement against judges during his telephonic address to a public meeting.
However, leaders of the party expressed complete solidarity with MQM chief Altaf Hussain and said that the party activists were ready to sacrifice their lives for the chief. A gathering organized outside the party’s headquarters, the leader said they could leave MQM but not Altaf Hussain. They said they would safeguard their party chief till their last breath.
They said that it was not important that they live or die but Altaf Hussain would be their leader forever. “15,000 people had sacrificed their lives for Altaf Hussain in the past,” they stated that more 15,000 activists were ready to sacrifice their lives for the MQM heady.
The MQM leader further added that it was not the blood that was running in their veins but it was Altaf Hussain who was there.

I must come and face Supreme Court Of Pakistan. If Ex Prime Minister Gilani can face why not he. It is clear now he want to run his show from London not from Pakistan. He is answerable to his workers as well ppl of Karachi and Pakistan.

Altaf, do not come Pakistan. There are more than twenty thousand persons of MQM to whom you trained as terrorists and get them killed by Pak forces,waiting for your return. In London you are not safe like Imran Farooq.
