Muslim FC finally end KRL’s unbeaten run

The Chaman giants finally ended the League leaders’ imperious form and claimed three points in their own backyard.

“In the meeting on Sunday night I told my boys that their morale looked a bit down and that was the reason why we went down,” said KRL boss Tariq Lutfi.

“There was a big crowd and it is usually not easy to play in such conditions. But I am also not satisfied with the refereeing standard. On quite a few occasions we had to suffer at the hands of the referee, who was an experienced person,” added the coach.

“But the defeat will awaken our side and will make them realise that they will have to be steadfast in approach and every game will have to be taken quite seriously,” Lutfi was quoted as saying to the media.

In other news, Wohaib FC were thumped 5-0 by KESC, while PMC Athletico held Habib Bank to a draw.
