Katinka Hosszu and Thomas Avetand capture gold medals – 2012 Indian Ocean Meet

Hosszu enjoyed a comfortable lead over her following swimmer and stepped on the victory stand for gold medal with a timing of 2 minutes and 10.79 seconds.
The champion was followed by Mathilde Hoareau of France, who stayed almost 13 seconds behind and surfaced on the finishing end for silver medal by touching the wall with the timing of 2 minutes and 23.01 seconds.
The silver medallist was traced by Elodie Poo Cheong, who stayed one second apart and transpired on the finishing end for bronze medal by touching the wall with the timing of 2 minutes and 24.01 seconds.
The bronze medallist was followed by Claudie Riviere, who was 0.44 seconds slower from her foregoing finisher and surfaced on the wall for fourth position by producing an effort of 2 minutes and 24.45 seconds.
Fifth spot of the race was gained by Lea Casalini, who was almost six seconds slower and touched the wall with an effort of 2 minutes and 30.26 seconds.
Afterwards, Avetand occupied the title of similar event in Men’s corner. Avetand faced no difficulty from his opponents and cruised his way towards the finishing end for gold medal by touching the wall with an effort of 2 minutes and 04.90 seconds.
The silver medallist was chased by Ambroise Petit, who stayed 0.76 seconds slower from his former finisher and tapped the wall for silver medal by clocking an effort of 2 minutes and 05.66 seconds.
Third position holder of the race was secured by Florent Hassambay, who remained more than two body lengths slower from him and tapped the wall for bronze medal with an effort of 2 minutes 08.37 seconds.
The bronze medallist was trailed by Alann Bobe, who was almost three body lengths apart and surfaced on the wall for fourth position by clocking an effort of 2 minutes and 11.03 seconds.
In addition, the winners received medals and accolades for their notable efforts at the victory ceremony of the tournament.
