I am not getting married with Uday Chopra; says ‘Rockstar’ girl Nargis Fakhri

Model-turned-actress Nargis Fakhri has dismissed buzz about her marriage after reports emerged that she is set to tie the knot with actor-producer Uday Chopra.

There have been a lot of rumors about the relationship of actor Uday Chopra and Nargis Fakhri. In fact, the buzz was that the couple was planning to marry in March. But now Nargis Fakhri has taken to Twitter to clear the air about the rumored link-up and marriage.

The 33-year-old, who made her Bollywood debut with Imtiaz Ali’s 2011 film Rockstar opposite Ranbir Kapoor, categorically rejected the rumors.

She posted, “Happily single and totally into my work. I am not getting married anytime soon to anyone. Who started this rumor?” Reports had claimed that the actress and Chopra are set to marry in March this year.

Fakhri has begun shooting for Madras Cafe, a political thriller directed by Shoojit Sircar. The film also stars John Abraham, who plays the main role of an Indian intelligence agent. Madras Cafe also deals with the subject of terrorism, and will be shot in Sri Lanka, South India and Delhi.

Focused on the Tamil Tigers, Fakhri will portray a journalist in the film while Abraham plays an intelligence officer.
