Paul Biedermann and Maxime Bussiere win swimming titles – 2012 Indian Ocean Meet

Paul Biedermann and Maxime Bussiere won gold medals of the Men’s 400m freestyle and 50m breaststroke respectively at the 2012 Indian Ocean Meet.

Biedermann enjoyed a considerable lead over his closest swimmer and raked gold medal of the race by producing a time of 3 minutes and 47.37 seconds.

The gold medallist was chased by Benoit Debast, who was nearly three seconds away and surfaced on the finishing end for second place by touching the wall with the timing of 3 minutes and 50.73 seconds.

Third finest spot of the race was obtained by Ambroise Petit, who stayed almost 12 seconds slower from Debast but managed to secure bronze medal of the discipline by producing an effort of 4 minutes and 02.11 seconds.

Fourth position of the race was gained by Mathieu Marquet, who remained 5.04 seconds away from his preceding swimmer and transpired on the finishing end with the timing of 4 minutes and 07.15 seconds.

Fifth position of the swim was gained by Valery Defalbaire, who stayed 6.30 seconds slower from his foregoing finisher and surfaced on the wall with the timing of 4 minutes and 13.45 seconds.

On the other hand, Bussiere secured gold medal of the 50m breaststroke. He gained a prominent lead over his closest swimmer and touched the wall for gold medal with a timing of 28.45 seconds.

The champion was traced by Kevin Toulet, who stayed 1.59 seconds slower and touched the wall for silver medal by producing an effort of 30.04 seconds.

The silver medallist was chased by Darren Chan Chin Wah, who remained 0.10 seconds slower from his foregoing finishers and transpired on the finishing end for bronze medal by producing an effort of 30.14 seconds.

Fourth best spot of the race was obtained by Guillaume Ycard, who was 0.13 seconds slower and surfaced on the finishing wall with an effort of 30.27 seconds.

Ycard was followed by Oliver Ah Ching, who remained almost half a body length behind and secured fifth place by producing an effort of 30.83 seconds.

Furthermore, the position holders received medals and accolades at the victory ceremony of the tournament.
