The Toronto Blue Jays right fielder Jose Bautista is hoping that the 2013 Major League Baseball season will prove successful for his game to improve further. He struggled in the last Major League outing with several injuries but now he has recovered fully and wants to compete well in the next season.
“There is no doubt that if we had a game tonight, I’d be playing,” Bautista said.
Bautista added, “Alex has really stuck to his word and said that when the time was right, he was going to pull some moves and make this team competitive for a long period of time, and that’s exactly what he has done, It gives all of us, including the players, the coaches, the fans, front office, ownership, everybody, a lot of reasons to be excited and happy about our upcoming seasons.”
Bautista showed consistent results in the last Major League outing and finished with good numbers of .241 hitting average along with 27 home runs, 65 RBIs and .358 OBP. Overall he possesses good career .253 hitting average along with 183 home runs, 503 RBIs and .362 OBP.
Bautista has been playing in the Toronto Blue Jays franchise since 2008 and showing consistent results with great athleticism. He joined the Blue Jays after playing in the Baltimore Orioles, Tampa Bay Devils/Rays, Kansas City Royals and Pittsburgh Pirates.
Experts believe that with Bautista’s presence in the franchise will certainly make things more competitive for the Toronto Blue Jays. The Blue Jays have brought many changes in this offseason and if these changes clicked, the South Toronto side will achieve consistent results throughout the season.
