Cleveland Indians sign three Minor League players

The Cleveland Indians have added three Minor League players and improved their backup to play more aggressive in the next Major League Baseball season. They Indians signed Scott Kazmir along with right-hander Jerry Gil and lefty Edward Paredes.
Experts believe that these three players will certainly help the Indians to grow further in 2013 Major League outing.
Not just these three players, the Indians have also signed recently a world class outfielder Nick Swisher. Swisher used to play in the New York Yankees but as a free agent, he made the decision to carry forward his future with the Indians.
“This guy right here, is a great recruiter. He really is,” Swisher said earlier of Indians manager Terry Francona at his introductory news conference.
He added, “The respect that I have for that man is top-notch, No one represents The Ohio State University better than that man did.”
Swisher further said after joining the Tribe, “It’s so crazy, that Ohio State bond that I’ve had, There are so many people across the country that bleed scarlet and gray. To be back here in my home state … it’s going to be so exciting to come back.”
Last season, with the New York Yankees, Swisher showed consistent performance and achieved good numbers. He played certainly well and showed full commitment. He remained consistent on the plate and finished the season on a high note.
He went at .272 hitting average along with 24 home runs, 93 RBIs and .364 OBP while his career hitting average of .256 along with 209 home runs, 673 RBIs and .361 OBP also makes him a good role player in the biggest baseball league in the world.
