Britta Steffen and Paul Biedermann seize gold medals – 2012 Indian Ocean Meet

With her commendable pace in the start, she gained a prominent lead over her challenger and reached the wall for gold medal by producing an effort of 52.69 seconds.
The champion was traced by Katinka Hosszu, who remained nearly three body lengths behind and reached the finishing end for silver medal by producing an effort of 55.32 seconds.
Third finest spot of the race was obtained by Cloe Hache, who was nearly full body length behind and stepped on the victory stand for bronze medal by reporting an effort of 56.23 seconds.
The bronze medallist was chased by Olivia de Maroussem, who was 1.15 seconds slower from overpowering her former finisher and touched the wall with the timing of 57.38 seconds.
Fifth best spot of the event was obtained by Alizie Morel, who stayed 0.40 seconds slower from her former finisher and surfaced on the finishing wall by producing an effort of 57.78 seconds.
On the other hand, Biedermann secured gold medal of the 200m freestyle. Biedermann remained in a considerable lead over his strongest swimmer over the finishing end as he tapped the finishing wall for gold medal with a timing of 1 minute and 46.55 seconds.
The first position holder was trailed by Benoit Debast, who was 1.97 seconds slower from his foregoing finisher and touched the wall with the timing of 1 minute and 48.52 seconds for second position.
Third fastest spot of the race was obtained by Mathieu Marquet, who was substantially slower from his former finisher and surfaced on the finishing end for bronze medal by producing an effort of 1 minute and 54.34 seconds.
Marquet was traced by Valery Defalbaire, who was 2.46 seconds behind and surfaced on the finishing end for fourth position by clocking an effort of 1 minute and 56.80 seconds.
Furthermore, the position holders collected accolades at the victory ceremony of the event.
