Florent Hassambay and Katinka Hosszu secure gold medals – 2012 Indian Ocean Meet

With his notable pace, he remained in a full body length lead over his challengers and reached the finishing end for gold medal by touching the wall with the timing of 51.29 seconds.
The champion was trailed by Pierre-Yves Desprez, who stayed nearly full second behind and stepped on the finishing end for silver medal by touching the wall with the timing of 52.13 seconds.
The second position holder was followed by Alann Bobe, who stayed 0.07 seconds slower from upsetting his former finisher and stepped on the victory stand for bronze medal by producing an effort of 52.20 seconds.
Bobe enjoyed a benefit of 0.35 seconds from his foregoing finisher and surfaced on the finishing end for fourth position by posting an effort of 52.55 seconds.
Fifth finest spot of the race was secured by Mathieu Marquet, who stayed almost half a body length slower from improving his position and emerged on the finishing end by clocking an effort of 53.21 seconds.
On the other hand, Hosszu snared the title of 800m discipline. Hosszu remained comfortably ahead of her closest swimmer as she cruised her way towards the finishing wall for gold medal by touching the wall with the timing of 8 minutes and 41.30 seconds.
The gold medallist was chased by Mathilde Hoareau, who stayed 17.63 seconds behind and surfaced on the finishing end for silver medal by touching the wall with an effort of 8 minutes and 58.93 seconds.
The silver medallist was followed by Anne-laure Iscaye, who remained almost 26 seconds slower from upsetting her former finisher and stepped on the victory stand for bronze medal by producing an effort of 9 minutes and 24.88 seconds.
The bronze medallist was traced by Eglantine Petit, who stayed nearly six seconds slower from her foregoing finisher and surfaced on the wall for fourth position by reporting a time of 9 minutes and 34.51 seconds.
In addition, the position holders received medals at the prize ceremony of the event.
