Microsoft profit falls despite launching windows 8

Microsoft is not one of the top grossing companies according to the fact and figures been provided by the Wall Street as they find it difficult to recover from shocking pace of Apple and Google in the technology sector.
Their results tell that they had 6,380 million dollars (4,800 million Euros) in the last quarter, after billing 21,460 million between October and December. This represents a 4% drop in profit. The results are
from the second quarter of the fiscal year that began in July.
Shares of the Redmond Company fell 8% from that presented the latest version of its operating system, the Windows 8 . It also has on the market since the tablet Surface, with which expects
to recover step.
The brand’s future will depend on how the Windows platform will be acquired by other mobile devices, and called the post-PC era. The operating system is the main source of income, together with the Office software suite.
The Windows division posted revenues of 5,880 million, up 24% from a year ago. This is due in large part to the updates that companies are doing your mother program, which was reflected in the results and IBM
earlier this week. Microsoft speaks of 60 million licenses sold of Windows 8 so far.
