Kristina Gavnholt confounds Martina Repiska in group stage of European Mixed Team Championships

This 21-minute tussle was part of a match between Slovakia and Czech Republic and both contenders remained head-to-head for just two games.
The young but talented Czech player employed all of her brilliance in the game and sealed a splendid straight-set victory with 21-6 and 21-9 margin.
Kristina laid foundation of her supremacy immediately in the opening game and enjoyed an upper hand all the way to final moments.
In first set of the match, she did not show any mercy in the establishing rallies and pocketed many valuable points. She doubled her total by prevailing in next couple of rallies.
Before the half time, she managed to establish an unassailable lead and relished this psychological edge in latter part of the game.
The Slovakian campaigner looked completely dazzled in front of Kristina and surrendered after reading an overwhelming figure of 6-21.
This first set win proved a real boost for Kristina and she ruled the court also in the following game. She started the beating from very first stroke and played with an authoritative approach until the last shot was played.
At first, she mounted pressure by registering a mountainous figure way before the interval and then magnified the impact with a decent total of 11 at half time.
After the one-minute break, the Belgian campaigner claimed many points in a row and strengthened her grip. She widened the gap on points table in third quarter of the set and then raised her chances of success.
The final stage of this encounter saw her completely on song as she did not give her rival even a single chance to retaliate and finished this tussle with 21-9 score.
