Carolina Marin stuns Juliane Schenk in Group 2 at European Mixed Team Championships 2013

The lofty Carolina, who has been putting in extra effort to elevate her skill set, surprised everyone by putting up spectacular show of attacking badminton. She played with superb precision and outplayed Schenk while taking just 36 minutes.
Carolina showed her elevated craft in the arena by playing to her maximum potential and she remained successful in registering a spectacular victory over Schenk in straight games with a superb 21-13 and 21-18 score on the board.

In the first set, the impressive Carolina delivered a staggering feat on court as she played shots with commanding control from opening points.
Carolina proved that she has got top class skills on court and ultimately successful in getting a strong position on court. She did not show any confusion as she was in complete control of the pace until the end of first half.
The confused Schenk, on the other hand, failed to get stronger after the one-minute interval as she lost her focus on court and committed many unforced errors.
Carolina did not reduce the pace of rallies at any stage and easily grabbed the opening game with a staggering 21-13 margin on the board.
In the second game, Schenk elevated her level of play and remained close to her Spanish challenger at the initial stage.
Both ladies progressed closely by playing at the same level and remained successful in staying close on the board until the break.
After the one-minute break, the aggressive Carolina geared up her speed in all areas of the court and took over the control of rallies. She played positive badminton in the ending points and grabbed the game with a decent margin of 21-18.
