PM says demands of Hazara community to be accepted
Monday, February 18th, 2013 9:40:18 by Tahir KhanPrime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf Monday assured the Hazara community that their demands would be accepted and the Government would go to any extent to bring culprits behind heinous Quetta blast to justice.
Speaking in the National Assembly‚ he said services of the country’s all security forces and agencies would be utilized to week out terrorists without regard for any political expediency.
He said it is fundamental responsibility of the Government to protect lives and properties of the citizens and it would take all possible measures to fulfill this responsibility.
The Prime Minister said last time when a tragedy occurred to Hazara community‚ he went to them and on their demand the Governor rule was imposed in the province.
The Federal Government provided every possible assistance to the Provincial Government including strengthening of security forces‚ increasing strength of and alerting para-military forces and intelligence agencies but despite that another tragedy occurred.
He said there is only one solution to the problem of terrorism – unity of the entire nation and the firm resolve to face the challenge squarely.
He said the nation defeated those who had removed Pakistan’s flag from Swat valley in the northwest making it possible for 2.5 million displaced people to return to their homes with honour.
He said the Government and the Opposition have completely harmony on the issue of terrorism and they are determined to eliminate the menace with all possible means.
The Prime Minister said the entire nation is firmly standing with members of the Hazara community and perpetrators of the heinous crime would not be spared.
