Yonex German Open 2013: Ka Long Ng ousts Maxime Moreels in Men’s Singles qualifying round

Hong Kong’s talented player Ka Long Ng found a perfect start in Men’s Singles qualifying round when he toppled Belgium’s Maxime Moreels at the Yonex German Open 2013 on Tuesday, February 26, in Germany.

The talented Ka Long, who has been working hard to live up to the expectations at international stage, started his journey in the tournament in a positive and confident manner and easily thrashed Moreels in just 20 minutes.

Ka Long stayed in complete command of rallies throughout this qualifying round battle and remained successful in finishing up the battle in straight games with a staggering 21-10 and 21-13 score on the board.

Belgian man, on the other hand, failed to put up strong show as he could not match the skills and speed of his Hong Kong challenger and eventually went down without even making the match interesting for the viewers at any stage.

It was a wonderful fight in the starting points when Ka Long showed attacking display of his craft in the arena. The hard-to-learn variations in Ka Long’s shots assisted him to maintain his superiority against his opponent on court.

Until the one-minute interval, the aggressive Ka Long stayed aggressive and continued playing attacking badminton all the way that enabled him to remain miles ahead on the board.

Moreels tried his best to play positive badminton but remained unable to take charge of rallies and remained trailing in the ending half.

It was a smooth ride for the in-form Ka Long who did not face any considerable resistance from his rival and won the first game with a staggering 21-10 margin on the board.

In the following set, the in-form Ka Long played with sound speed without leaving any opportunity for Moreels to find a good flow. He was impressively fast on court and he did not face any problem in building a staggering gap until the end of first part.

Ka Long continued putting up stunning performance in the second half of second game and remained successful in winning the game with a superb margin of 21-13 and sealed off a comprehensive victory.
