Tyler Clary and Felipe Lima claim gold medals – Arena Grand Prix

Tyler Clary and Felipe Lima claimed gold medals of the Men’s 400m Individual Medley (IM) and 100m breaststroke respectively at the 2013 Arena Grand Prix.

Clary stayed in a significant lead over his opponent and tapped the wall for the title with an effort of 4 minutes and 24.56 seconds.

The champion was traced by Esteban Enderica, who was 0.56 seconds slower from him and stepped on the victory stand for silver medal by touching the wall with the timing of 4 minutes and 25.12 seconds.

Enderica was trailed by Conor Dwyer, who remained only 0.18 seconds slower from his former finisher and occupied bronze medal of the race with an effort of 4 minutes and 25.30 seconds.

Dwyer was followed by Brandon Flynn MA, who stayed almost six seconds behind and settled on the wall as fourth fastest swimmer by reporting an effort of 4 minutes and 31.28 seconds.

Fifth spot of the race was secured by Miguel Robles Castro, who was 1.08 seconds slower and emerged on the wall with the timing of 4 minutes and 32.36 seconds.

On the other hand, Lima secured the title of 100m breaststroke. He experienced tough competition from his toughest challenger and surfaced on the finishing end for gold medal by producing a time of 1 minute and 00.86 seconds.

The champion was chased by Mike Alexandrov, who stayed only 0.04 seconds behind and finished second in the event by clocking a time of 1 minute and 00.90 seconds.

Third spot of the race was secured by Bradley Craig, who stayed 2.38 seconds behind and clocked a time of 1 minute and 03.28 seconds.

Craig was followed by Azad Al-barazi, who remained only 0.11 seconds behind and touched the wall with the timing of 1 minute and 03.39 second for fourth position.

Fifth position of the race was gained by Carlos Claverie, who was 0.09 seconds behind and hit the wall with an effort of 1 minute and 03.48 seconds.

In addition, the position holders received medals and accolades at the victory ceremony of the event.
