Balochistan MPA kidnapped

Malik Sultan Tarin, who belongs to the Pashtoon nationalist “Awami National Party” (ANP) lost control with family members in Kuchlak, some 30 km from Quetta, the provincial capital.
Tarin had left Quetta for Harnai area on Tuesday night on his personal vehicle.
“Armed men whisked away my brother to unknown location in Kuchlak area
between Monday and Tuesday night,” Ghulam Tareen, brother of the lawmaker said.
Police said that the kidnappers threw out the driver and guard, who are injured.
Sources said that the armed men were in three vehicles, who took away the MPA with them.
Mr Tareen, has also served as Minister in the provincial cabinet, dismissed in January after governor rule was imposed in Balochistan.
No group claimed responsibility.
Tarin is the second important personality from Balochistan kidnapped in less than a week.
A senior government prosecutor was kidnapped by unidentified persons when he was coming to Islamabad from Balochistan.
Kidnapping in Balochistan is common and the incidents are blamed on criminals and some time suspected militants are involved for ransom.
