Yen Mei Ho overpowers Wing Yung Ng to wrap up Women’s Singles title at Dutch Junior International

The impressive Yen Mei, who was the 9th seeded player in Women’s Singles main draw of the championship, stayed consistent in her positive and aggressive play and remained successful in beating her lower ranked challenger in a thrilling contest.
Yen Mei played controlled and dominating badminton and took the first game with a wonderful margin but lost the second game with a decent deficit. However, she played aggressive badminton in the ending points of final game and won the match with a 21-14, 17-21 and 21-18 on the score board.
Meanwhile, the un-seeded Wing Yung also played impressive badminton as she pushed her higher ranked challenger all corners. However, she could not maintain her positive play and lost the match with a respectable total but not before winning the second game.
In the opening set, Yen Mei was in complete command of rallies as she did not let her rival to take charge of rallies and remained successful in setting up a wonderful lead until the break.
After the one-minute interval, Malaysian lady continued playing aggressive and positive badminton. She did not face any considerable opposition from her challenger and eventually won the set with a wonderful margin of 21-14.
In the second game, Yen Mei again played with smashing speed and precision and remained ahead on the score board until the one-minute break.
However, it was Wing Yung who showed her brilliance after the break by playing attacking and positive badminton. She levelled the score and continued playing aggressive badminton.
Yen Mei tried her best to match the pace of rallies but failed to play positive badminton and lost the set with a 17-21 score on the board.
In the deciding set, both shuttlers played impressive game by pushing each other in all corners of the court and stayed close until the end of first half.
After the break, both shuttlers did not miss any chance to earn points and reached in the concluding phase. However, it was Yen Mei who controlled the affairs at this crucial stage and won the set with a margin of 21-18 and wrapped up the title.
