Robben wants to win titles again

Bayern Munich right winger Arjen Robben has insisted that he is looking forward to win trophies this season, after not winning a major title for the past two years. The Bundesliga club lost the finals of the German cup and the UEFA Champions League last campaign.
Moreover, they also lost the league to current champions’ Borussia Dortmund. Der FCB’s most recent silverware was the German double success when they won the league title and DFB-Pokal in 2010. Nevertheless, the Bavarian giants are 17 points ahead of the BVB in the Bundesliga.
“I long to be overwhelmed by that happiness,” the former Groningen youth academy player was quoted as saying in an interview.
“I still remember how it feels to touch cups and trophies. It tingles, it’s just unbelievably beautiful,” the former PSV Eindhoven, Chelsea FC and Real Madrid star added.
“The best moment is immediately after the game on the field and in the booth. You feel redemption. On the balcony [at the town hall] it is also very nice, but by then you have to sleep on the victory and it is already clear in my head,” the 2010 FIFA World Cup runner-up with Netherlands mused.
“Our heads need to focus on Dusseldorf, then think about Arsenal and then to Wolfsburg,” the 2010 German Footballer of the Year continued.
“Nothing else. We need to continue to concentrate and not start to dream. We need to focus on the title in May and not now,” the 2012 UEFA Champions League finalist finally concluded.
Bayern have also reached the semi-final of the German cup and won their Champions League first round clash 3-1 against Arsenal.
