Imran Khan in for a huge disappointment due to his strong faith in the Pakistani youth

Imran Khan is the saviour that the troubled Pakistani nation has been waiting for since years. The chairman of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf is promising to transform Pakistan into a “Naya Pakistan,” which is indeed an ambitious goal considering the resistance that he is bound to face.

The politicians and bureaucrats that have been exploiting the current state of the country and extracting benefits out of it should not be expected to sit idle while Khan tries to accomplish what is deemed by many as an utopian dream.

The powerful are said to be powerful because of the many resources that they have at their disposal. These resources are not only limited to money, but also include man-power, thanks to their ability to manipulate people and use them as pawn in the great game of chess that has the entire nation standing on the chequered board.

Khan will find himself facing one challenge after another as he embarks on his journey to change the country and rid it of the existing evils. While he and his supporters claim that change is already in motion, the reality is quite different.

The energetic youth of the country is undoubtedly backing the slogan of change and promising to play their part in bringing about the transformation of a country that can be likened to a sinking ship.

Unfortunately, unconsciously and unintentionally, this very youth is being a huge resistance to change.

Khan has envisioned a Pakistan that is proud of its identity. The youth, however, is burying the identity of the country with its own hands.

Instead, the youth is focusing on becoming westernised, adopting their culture and lifestyle. New standards have been set to differentiate between a modern and “paindu” person.

The youth may be asking for change, but they are reflecting the actions of the evil and corrupt leaders that have ruled the country for decades. Lying, deceit, harassment, all this is becoming a norm in universities and offices.

Khan may be optimistic about the youth, but it only seems like a matter of time before he ends up getting disappointed and giving up on changing the country, because the very niche that he is relying on to bring about this change needs changing.

This article is hilarious. It seems like it has been penned down by Zardari or his comrades. You ask the youth to give up hope, change and let Zardari and his 40 thieves do whatever they want with the country because…some of the youth idealizes the west? Does that even make sense?
